Exploring the 2025 Marvel Rivals Ignite Competitive Season
Welcome to the 2025 season of Marvel Rivals IGNITE! Get ready for an exhilarating tournament featuring new factions and innovative formats kicking off this May! If you’re new to esports, don’t worry—we’ve got all the information you need to prepare for IGNITE 2025.
This year, we'll witness fierce competition across five major regions: AMERICAS, EMEA, CHINA, ASIA and OCEANIA. With global teams vying for supremacy, get ready for the most competitive tournament yet!
Tournament Calendar
The season kicks off in May, with teams needing to pass the Qualifiers before Stage 1's group stage. Top teams from the Marvel Rivals Invitational 2025 and Championship Season 1 will receive direct invitations, while others can qualify through the in-game Open Qualifiers starting in May.
Teams have two chances to qualify, with each split offering about half of the slots. Qualified teams move to the group stage, where the top half advances to regional playoffs and the bottom half is eliminated.
In July, the Mid-Season Finals will take place, allowing top teams from Championship Season 2 and Stage 2 Open Qualifiers to vie for spots in Ignite Stage 2. The top half from Stage 1 will automatically qualify for Stage 2, where teams will compete in the Group Stage and Playoffs leading up to the Grand Finals in November.
About the Ignite prize pool
The participating teams in the Mid-Season Finals will share a substantial prize pool of $500,000. The Global Finals promise intense rivalry, as participants compete for their victory to share an extraordinary $1 million prize! Featuring a staggering total prize pool of over $3 million, this tournament is set to explode!
